Safeguarding is very important in the life of the church and so the Diocesan Administrator, Fr. Paulinus and the Archdiocesan team are grateful for all the hard work done by our parish co-ordinators, Gillian Lewis, and all the volunteers in the parish. The dedication and motivation of our parish continues to raise awareness of Safeguarding and highlights our shared responsibility to deliver a duty of care to all. During Lent there will be Stations of the Cross each Tuesday at 7.00pm.
Lent is also the time for alms giving. There will be a second collection on each of the Sundays of Lent. On the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th Sundays the collection is for Sick and Retired Priests. Gift aiders should use the special collection envelopes.
The 4th Sunday is always reserved for the annual collection for SCIAF. Please do not use the parish special collection envelopes.
